Commitment to Accountability and Integrity

Corporate governance is more than meeting the requirements of the law. The confidence and trust a company needs from its stakeholders cannot be legislated. Confidence and trust must be earned. Timely and accurate information to investors can establish realistic expectations for the future of the company. And, above all, a company must operate with integrity.

Integrity is the cornerstone for all our dealings with customers, employees, stockholders, suppliers, competitors, and the communities we serve.  There can be no exceptions or compromises. The MDU Resources Vision, Mission and Guiding Principles lay the foundation for our conduct as employees and a corporation.

Leading With Integrity is the ethics, code of conduct and legal compliance programs of MDU Resources Group, Inc. It was created on April 2, 2007, through the amendment and consolidation of these three programs into one program.

Compliance officers are available at each of the businesses to assist with concerns of potential governance, compliance or legal violations.

Ethicspoint provides MDU Resources' employees, vendors, customers and other stakeholders a way to make confidential and anonymous reports regarding accounting, legal, ethical, human resources and safety issues.
